Handmade Nest for Birdie~ Can you guess what I used?

photo by Chase Adams I want to challenge you a little today....

PROBLEM: Yesterday I needed a birdnest to fit a particular bowl. I could not find one in my house and I could not find an old one in the woods that I could get to.

SOLUTION: Make one.

YOUR CHALLENGE: I used two different papers on this nest~ a newspaper and a brown craft paper. I also used two other items~ One to bond everything and one as a base.

Can you guess these two items?

Tomorrow I will show you how I make the Birdies Nest!

I thought maybe a tart pan for a base, but do not know what else.

Hmm.
Maybe a fan of cardboard fora base, and not a tart pan?

Hi sweetie!!! What a wonderful idea! I've added shred to a store bought nest before but I imagine you could add it to something else to create a nest as well...now what did you use? And we have to wait until tomorrow?? :) xxoo, Dawn

Hi, so nice to meet you, I'm glad you took the time to say hello to me. Tell me more about the collection thing. I have plenty to show. Send me a link maybe. Sounds interesting. I will be in the yard working steady for about the next two months. This is my time of the year, so my blogging will slow some, but I love it so I can't stay away.

I would have to paint the cup holder either black or white. Cute nest, love how you have it in a branch. I'd also love to visit that shop. Hugs, Rosemarie
