Rehearsal Dinner and Bridesmaid Luncheon Invitations....

I love making Invitations! Having friends call me, tell me about their event and then giving me the freedom to design their Invites really allows me to be Creative. Of course these three invites were for my children. Jim and Josie (Whit's future mother and father in-loves) let me create the invite to the Rehearsal Dinner they are hosting. I love using jewels, glitter dust and stickles! How fun!!!

Little Arches, Barbados... Here we come!!!

It will be a perfect wedding!!

I can never thank Jackie's Aunt enough for putting all of this together for us.

She owns the resort and it has been so generous of her to share her home with our family.

Chase & Jackie's Destination Wedding Invites....

When Chase told me he was going to design and make the Wedding Invitations for their wedding, I was a little surprised, but not entirely. Even though Chase did not go to school to become a graphics designer, he has the natural talent. I thought this was a perfect invite for their Barbados destination wedding! I love how he personalized each one, making us feel special.
The wedding plans are going so well. Jackie has her colors, her dress and her sweet Aunt in Barbados is helping with the other plans. Cinta, her aunt, e-mailed me yesterday with a selection of restaurants for the rehearsal dinner. It was hard to look at the menu.... my choices were so good. I think I am leaning with this one.... Champers Restaurant ... http://www.champersbarbados.com/ The menu is incredible and it has so many choices. I also like the Italian restaurant she sent us, so tomorrow morning I will probably being desiring this one... Luigi's. http://www.luigisbarbados.com/Home.html I can't wait for Chase and Jackie's wedding, it is so Jackie!!! Elegant and beautiful!

Now, this is fun......

I am having the most fun working on the weddings! I can't believe both of my children are getting married within a few months. The weddings are totally different, night and day you can say.............. Chase and Jackie's

Destination Wedding on June the 19th in Barbados. Jackie's colors are royal blue, pink and white. Jackie's aunt owns a resort in Barbados, Little Arches. http://www.littlearches.com/ She has blessed all of us with the opportunity of Chase and Jackie sharing their vows at their wonderful hotel. Such an awesome blessing. Her aunt is working on many of the plans, with Chase and Jackie putting their touch on the wedding. Chase finished the invitations (yes, he is creative like his MOM) last night and they are so incredible! I will be sharing them with you in a few days! Jackie's inspiration comes from a wedding in South Carolina. Elegant and sophisticated! Just like our beautiful Jackie!

Whitney and JD

Vintage style Wedding on May the 29th at The Carl House, Auburn Georgia. From Auburn, Alabama to Auburn, Georgia, we will be planning this wedding. ~ Totally different from Chase and Jackie's. The wedding is very laid back with touches of Whitney and JD's personality throughout the ceremony and reception. Whit's colors are brown and robin's egg blue, the colors of her sorority. The more we have worked on the wedding the more the theme has developed..... JD and Whit starting their own little "NEST". There will be birds nest with eggs throughout the decorations. This wedding matches their personalities.... vintage, sentimental and EXTREME (Ok.. maybe some of the extreme comes from me)
As a MOM I feel so blessed my children love me so much to allow me to have such a big part in their weddings. The greatest compliment in the world!

Designing Save the Date Invites.....

Finally.... I can show you something from Whitney and JD's wedding!

I sent the Save the Date to all of our guest last week. This was very easy to design and using one of the many sources for printing on the Internet, I was able to do 300 for about $25.00!

All of the important information was on the back of the card.

Using the postcard, the postage was only .28 cents. And I like that!

Chase just finished designing his and Jackie's destination wedding invitations. He has an awesome printer that he is using to print not only his cards but the envelopes! They are incredible and I can't wait to show you their invites!

Two weddings this summer.... May the 29th and June the 19th!

I have to be the most blessed MOM around!

I know you are saying.... Another Wedding??? Yes, I am in the Season of My Life where everyone is getting married!!! This wedding~my niece Lauren Cook.

The wedding was cute with the Bride being the star and the flower girl adding the entertainment! Reagan, pictured below, was given her instructions on how to be the perfect flower girl...... The problem, Reagan was also told at the end of rehearsal to pick her flower petals back up! So of course at the wedding, my sweet little Reagan went back to pick up ALL of the flower petals that she had dropped. It took numerous trips up and down the aisle before she had picked all of the pink petals up. When she finally picked up all of the petals midway through the ceremony, she sweetly went to the front, grabbed my daughters hand and stood there...... UNTIL the married couple went down the aisle and messed up the aisle runner!!! She quickly took it upon herself to go and straighten out the runner. It was a hard job for one so young...... PLUS she had the wedding party backed up behind her. At that point my wonderful brother-in-law (father of the bride) slid out of his seat and patiently helped Regan straighten out the aisle runner to Reagan's approval! It was a beautiful and sweet wedding! More pictures and info. coming later when I can pull more pictures from my son's camera!!!

Chase had left messages, one after another all over Lynchburg to get her to the coffee shop where they spent so much time. There, he had made a video of the past year and their adventures. She did not know he was in town. At the end he told her to get the note that was under the table..... It said to turn around. There he was on bended knee!

And She Thought She was Celebrating Her Birthday!

Finally, I can let the secret out....

Chase proposed to Jackie tonight!!! Yeah!!! Complete surprise to her. He went up to Virginia and had a wonderful evening for her leading up to the proposal.

We are getting a new daughter-in-love! Everything that Reid and I have prayed over since Chase was little! She is a wonderful gift to both of Reid and I! The most important thing ~ Chase adores her and she adores him. They are best friends and they are deeply in love with our Jesus Christ and serving Him! I would have to say that is a great foundation for a marriage.

Looking for the perfect Bridal Shower Invite....

Guess who is in town this week..... Jackie!!!

Reid and I love her so much and we are so glad that Chase has found her!

Jackie is helping me this week pick out an invitation for two upcoming showers that I am giving for my nieces. I have a theme (secret for now) and we are in search for that perfect invite to start everything off with a bang! For those that know me, I love to give a PARTY with games, fun and then more fun! I want it to be one of those showers that the bride will say you remember when AuntE gave me that shower and so and so did this and that!

Everlasting FUN Memories is my GOAL and It always starts with the Invite!

I wish I could show you all the goodies we found for the shower today in Atlanta for the shower, but that would spoil our surprise!

Let's just say I did EXTREMELY well shopping today for the showers.

Also, Jackie had never been to Atlanta (she is from California, goes to college in Virginia) so I had to take her down Ponce deLeon and then down Peachtree hitting some of my favorite shops.

Our first stop was SWOOZIES, which I love but I am extremely upset with now because they would not allow me to take pictures for my blog. And yes that is the store where I spent mucho grande money on invitations for 80 people, specialty items for the showers, my baby Emma something special and a special gift for someone. So YES, I was disappointed!!!

Then it was on to The Container Store for anything I could try to contain...... And always ~ wrapping paper and ribbon, ribbon, ribbon....

The trip would not be complete to Atlanta for Jackie without stopping by Lenox~
