For many young children, this is the first summer they are able to play with a water hose! We had "no watering" restrictions for the last few years!
As a child playing with a water hose was one of the greatest things that Mama let us do!

Loved playing in the water when I was a kid. The best memories were of family vacations to a water park. We went every year for a week and it was the best. Also the week long vacations that I took with just me and my grandma! I miss those times.
These look just like my fondest summer memories...except just us girls. Me and my sister.
Also gas was affordable and there would be long rides in the country with my grandma. Trips to the mountains and lazy days at the public pool.

I loved playing in the hose when I was that age! It was hot in the summer in Fort Worth in the 50's!
Seriously adorable pictures. : ) My favorite summer memory is going to visit my Grandma in her trailor in Clarion, Pa. I thought a metal house was the coolest thing on the planet. I still do. I would love to live in a trailor!
