Rehearsal Dinner for the Wedding.....

Our Wedding Day for Whitney and JD has finally past and now we are anticipating the Wedding for Jackie and Chase in Barbados..... I can't wait. I hope you enjoy the following pictures of our night before the wedding. Whitney had t-shirts made for all of the members of the wedding party. The gentlemen wore turquoise shirts with white oak trees on the side, the ladies had brown t-shirts with turquoise hydrangeas. All the shirts had Whit and JD's wedding date printed across the right shoulder. I will start posting the wedding pictures tomorrow.

Kids Luncheon at Lou's Diner...

To include our Jr. Bridesmaids, flower girl and ring bearer in the pre-wedding festivities, we decide to take them to Lou's Diner in Social Circle. Lou's Diner is directly behind The Blue Willow and is owned by the same couple. To say the least we had a blast going back to the 50's. The food was great and the atmosphere was so charming. We were even treated to a car show and a young man singing Jerry Lee Lewis. He was ripping up his electric piano and and when I first walked out of the restaurant I thought they were playing old Jerry Lee Lewis CD's. This kid was good. By the end of the day our tummies were full and we were able to thank our young people in an awesome way.

Haley, Jackson, Reagan, Karis, Whitney and Faith. There Moms and Dad were in our wedding in 1982. Russell (Karis's dad) fainted three times during the ceremony. It was so funny.

We got to spin to see if we received our lunch 1/2 off.

Adoption, UGA, Coach Mark Richt and Role Models....

As a fan of the UGA Bulldog's but, mostly Coach Mark Richt, I was going through the video's and found this. I wanted to share this with everyone. I am so proud of the Coach that represents one of our State's teams. He is a great role model to the players and a great role model to all of the other College Coaches in America!
