Vintage Hankie Tree for Happy Tears.....

In the Special Touches to our Wedding section of the Program it read.....

Vintage Hankies - Started by her Gingin Joyce, it is a tradition in Whitney's family to give a handkerchief to the bride for her wedding day. In order to pass that tradition along to all of the women in attendance, we wanted to give you each a vintage hanky. These have been handkerchiefs that Whitney and her mom have been collecting since before she even met JD. We are excited to share this tradition with you all!

After collecting vintage hankies for years, we had to figure out a way to display them at the wedding. The perfect way did not happen until about two weeks before the wedding. I had a metal topiary that stood about three feet tall. It worked out perfect to clothespin the individual hankies to the topiary creating a vintage hankie tree.
You can purchase large lots of vintage hankies on Ebay. Also, Whit created the blackboard by using a white paint marker!

Hi Yvette,

I love this idea....I think I will make a smaller version of this Hankie Tree. I have many beautiful vintage hankies that my grandmother had given to me and they are way too pretty to keep hidden!!

Oh thank you for coming to visit me earlier and commenting about my vintage pillow!!
I always love hearing from you and so happy you had a wonderful and memorable time at both of your childrens weddings!!

Love and Hugs,
