A New Adventure & Hobby Lobby Re-do....

Trumpets Please....
Announcing the Arrival of
The Charm House to Vintage Village!!!
I finally made the decision to take the jump and make the first baby step into the real world of "retail"! And it is a big decision based on FAITH for me! I am counting on the Good Lord to take me though it all!
I am so grateful to Debbie at the Vintage Village for being so encouraging and helpful to make this decision an easy and simple one. When I first walked in the door, it felt like home. Each girl decorates their booth with so much care, love and HEART. I knew this is where I wanted to place my ART! It would find its home here with all of the other wonderful vintage trinkets and treasures that I used to create it! I looked and searched for a year, trying to find anywhere or some little place that I felt my art would fit in.
God knew this would be it.
His place, in His timing!
I know this will be a Good Thing ~
God is Good ~ All the Time!
Come Visit us at
2229 Scenic Highway
Snellville, Georgia
And Now for another Hobby Lobby Re-do~
One of their Concrete pieces 50% off
Of course I had to change the colors using Jim Holtz Alcohol Inks
Colors Caramel, Stream and Ginger
I used a cosmetic wedge sponge to apply the Alcohol Inks onto the piece.
I then used another cosmetic wedge sponge dabbing the timber brown StazOn Ink pad
and highlighting the high areas of the piece.
When finished to my liking, I applied a coat of spray varnish!
Hope you like!

Good Morning Yvette,
We are thrilled beyond belief that you will be joining us ~ might let all your "buds" know that it will be whatever day you are coming in ~ Monday or later next week - which ever is fine with us.
You will add a necessary piece of our cozy shop ~ something that we haven't offered until you. Now, I personally can't wait to shop myself.
You won't be needing much of that "faith" for this adventure ~
you already have the gift to share ~ He blessed you with that many years ago - so never sell yourself short.

Welcome Charm House! I have been with Vintage Village and the hags since September 2000 and have felt like family from the moment they welcomed me into their vintage selling arms. I have had the good fortune of selling all over the US, but I can say without hesitation, that Vintage Village has always been like a wondeful family to me. The people are warm, friendly and funny and we take care of each other. Welcome to Vintage Village and I cannot wait to see the lovely things you will be offering. Dari - I Need This, Antiques!

You will just LOVE the world of retail!

I can tell by your posts that you're one who likes to do things for others. And this venture will give you just that opportunity. You get such satisfaction out of creating things that make others happy.

Keep up your great work! Even though I don't get to leave you comments as often as I'd like I still love to read your posts!
