Wow!!! It is so wild how God created us so different with different desires and likes! It was so fun to hear every one's opinion on Facebook and my blog! Some could not even make up their mind and some even selected more than one!!! God desires us to Dream Big and Aim High!

Beautiful!!!

Have you ever just decided that you would hop in the car and just take a good ROAD TRIP??? Well, that's what I did Monday afternoon after working at The Vintage Village! I got home, had mentioned to Whit about going to the beach soon, she INSISTED we throw "stuff" in the car and leave at 5:00 in the afternoon. Now as a grown adult I knew this trip was NOT to be made at night but for some reason my 21 year old Senior at Auburn University daughter TALKED me into doing this. The drive was fine until we hit Highway 27..... A very long four lane road (they must have someone POWERFUL representing them to get this road). We have to go about 120 miles on this road and it is boring..... All you see is those metal, haunting, silver and orange plates that are suppose to keep you on the road! You very rarely pass a car and there is probably 50 miles between gas stations (for us that meant no drinks and snacks). Spooky, but not spooky enough. At 11:00 we hit Highway 65, the most gruesome, scary road in Florida. You have to go through a National Forest, they call it Tate's Hell....... Are you getting the picture now!!! We had to laugh the whole way or we would have cried!!!

All I can say is Thank Goodness for the TRIP feature on my car. We knew the end was close!

Anyways.... we had a great week full of the most perfect weather, swimming, shopping, cooking and Whit had a surprise visitor from her Young Man on Friday! Everything Was So Awesome!

Wonderful Distractions.....

Yes.... I am a slacker this summer! If you have young children to about the 10th grade, you probably don't understand my NEED to spend every moment with my daughter. This is her Senior YEAR at Auburn and she had promised me a month to be home just to spend with me! I know after this school year things will be so different. She will start her own life, creating herself! The hope will always be that we will forever climb up into my king size bed, pull the covers up and watch a girlie movies together! And after that, hours spent laying there just talking about life and our dreams... all cuddled up in bed......... Saying all this, I have to mention my SON! I have the best son! He is always willing to take the time to sit with me, help me and give me the best hugs ever! He just does not like girlie movies! LOL

Whit left today (just for the weekend) to go back to Auburn. Her best friend graduates now and she wanted to see her before she left Auburn.

While she was gone, I decided to clean the studio. I really wanted it to be perfect and organized so that we can enjoy the rest of the summer. Here are a couple of pics of what we are working on!

YIKES.... Whit is home in the Studio again!

YIKES.... What a mess!! Whit is home from Auburn during the month of July and we have decided MY STUDIO is too small for the both of us! If WE decide to work together, WE have to get a bigger room! Maybe WE can expand to the garage like Dawn at The Feathered Nest did! That will take a lot of begging to my husband on my part OR maybe I can get Whit to do the dirty work. We will have the garage in no time! Daddy's Little Girl! LOL

The Charm House at The Vintage Village has expanded!!! I am totally out of my comfort zone right now, wondering if I am going to pull it off! It requires more working days and a larger area. But you never know unless you put yourself out there.
